VERDICT: Horizon D'or pulled clear with the eventual winner when finishing an excellent second over 3m at Ludlow last month and, upped 4lb, it would be no surprise if he had enough in the locker to go one place better. Lucky Rose has hit the woodwork since switched to handicaps the last twice, and another prominent showing looks likely. Inspector Lynley will need to bounce back from a subdued effort over 2m4f at Perth last time, but that could be forthcoming in first-time cheekpieces.
