VERDICT: Allbetsoff made every yard to win this contest last year, but his recent efforts fail to inspire confidence and Ankud is preferred. A winner over hurdles for Gordon Elliott, the latter failed to fire in a handicap at Hexham on debut for new connections, but the five-year-old is clear of these on ratings and looks worth another chance. Forget The Way ran well for second at Southwell recently but has plenty to find on these terms.
