VERDICT: Jane Eire has run well in two maiden hurdles to date and contests a winnable race. Having shown promise on debut at Down Royal in August, she was beaten a short-head in a useful Gowran maiden last month and, with proven form on good ground and over this distance, should take the beating. Torps is a danger as despite having no previous jumping experience, he showed nice ability running in a tongue-tie on his Listowel bumper debut. That eventful race provided a bunch finish but the more experienced winner followed up next time and Torps will be well schooled. Grimaud is a dual French Flat winner with form at middle-distances and debuts over jumps for a top yard.
