VERDICT: Norr's Cross was just touched off at Tipperary on his Rules debut in May and, now in the care of David Pipe, he is likely to prove popular. Fergal O'Brien often does well in this type of contest so Nathan's Run warrants a market check, as does Jamie Snowden's Fresh Perspective, who won between the flags in January. However, a chance can be taken on Beau Gold. The 92,000-euro purchase is a half-brother to the smart Predators Gold, who won on his sole bumper appearance, and it would come as no surprise were the O'Neills' four-year-old to follow suit.
