VERDICT: Streak Lightning impressed when scoring cosily over this track and trip on his penultimate start and, with excuses for his recent low-key display over C&D, he gets the vote to return to winning ways here. Cancan In The Rain has been knocking on the door of late and, on the back of a solid third over this trip at Southwell last time out, he can emerge as the main danger to the selection off an unchanged mark. This ease in grade should see Bajan Bandit in a better light and he merits consideration.
