VERDICT: Rogue Encore was supported in the market at Haydock when finishing sixth of 11, but connections add first-time cheekpieces here as he drops a class looking for a better performance. He can go well, but African Spirit could make the most of a drop in trip after campaigning unsuccessfully over further in better company. His one win was here over 7f on debut, and a repeat of that form may be all he needs. Wind River is another dropping back in trip and he may follow them home.
