VERDICT: Quite an open affair this with the similarly well-engaged Koktail Ludois (15), who returns fresh from a spell, set to do battle with Kirsch Des Pres (14) who ran 3rd here mid-September when unshod-behind. A freshly-configured King Steed (8) made up for his Enghien clinker with a solid run at Chateaubriant, and looks marginally preferable to Kronos De Brion (7) who has won 2 of his last 4.
