VERDICT: Forlio overcame a lengthy layoff when successful on his first outing for current connections over 1m3f at Limerick in May and has shown promise on a number of occasions since, often coming from well off the pace. The selection didn't enjoy much luck in running at Navan last week and the booking of Dylan Browne McMonagle adds to confidence. Picpoul has won twice over C&D and rates a threat having beaten all bar Church Mountain over an extended 1m2f here recently. Action Motion advertised his chance when a close fourth in first time blinkers at Thurles last time, while Glyde Ranger finished with a typical flourish when beaten less than two lengths here earlier this month.
