VERDICT: Cresta Cat has shown a distinct preference for soft going and won with any amount in hand at Nottingham just four days ago. He can defy a 5lb penalty and land the hat-trick, with this extra distance not a problem. It was heavy ground when Fen Tiger won this in 2022 and another bold bid looks on the cards competing off the same mark. The progressive Liberated Lad and Cherryhawk are others worthy of consideration.
