VERDICT: Al Aasy is already a dual Group 3 winner this season and, as he proved when scoring readily in the Geoffrey Freer in August, his liking for this course is a highly valuable asset. Rain-soaked ground could be a stumbling block, however, and support in the betting for Salt Bay, whose yard won the last running of this with Max Vega, would need taking seriously. The 2022 winner and the third Ralph Beckett representative Feigning Madness are also dangerous to rule out, while God's Window could be the pick of the Gosdens' two entrants.
