ANALYSIS: Prominent on outside, lost place before 2 out, soon weakened, tailed off
VERDICT: Intense Approach was on a hat-trick when finding one too strong in the Persian War at Chepstow. The manner of that performance suggested that going up to 3m would be a positive move and the five-year-old can make it a third triumph in this contest for his trainer since 2020. Bellewstown winner Millforce was beaten a short head at Cork and remains open to improvement on just his third start under Rules. Fine Margin should appreciate this kind of test having not appeared to handle the ground when pulling up at Worcester.
