VERDICT: An excellent campaigner that missed out by little in the Gr.1 Criterium des 3 Ans, and in the absence of that day's winner, Lombok Jiel (9) sports hind pads this time and has an excellent chance of returning to victorious ways. Leading the opposition is the reconfigured Loulou De Mye (7) who beat him in the Gr.2 Prix Jacques de Vauloge late-August, and the talented but somewhat erratic Luciano Menuet (8) who was rather unlucky in the Criterium.
