VERDICT: Geezer Rockstar shaped with promise last season and, after being readily outclassed in a warm Sandown handicap over 2m when last seen, he should appreciate this drop in class. That said, King Roly edges preference. He arrives on a hat-trick after scoring gamely over 2m7f at Worcester last month and, dropping in trip with match-fitness on his side, he gets the vote. Barlovento is a fascinating contender on his hurdles debut having scored cosily in a Southwell bumper in the spring.
