NRSPOTLIGHT: Has not raced since coming last of 12 in a 2950m Vichy Class E early-July, and will have nothing to contribute on first start back
VERDICT: Although sanctioned more often than not, Sebastien Guarato's London Eye (10) has shown significant promise and, with hind pads fitted for his first start since the spring, can open his autumn account. Yoann Lebourgeois will still want to be wary of the improving L'as Des Caraibes (9) who defied his odds here earlier in the month, and the Duvaldestin's L'espoir (12) who will have benefitted from his Meslay re-entry run. Revitalised since starting to race with pads, Loco Fligny (7) got off the mark late last month and, with morale intact, will be competitive for the double.
