VERDICT: Winner of the Criterium de Vitesse de Basse Normandie at Argentan during the summer, Just A Gigolo (5) may not have been as sharp since but he goes barefoot this time and is ideally-positioned to bag another black-type win. Benjamin Rochard will still want to be wary of Hooker Berry (1) who showed in the Gr.1 UET Elite Circuit Finale recently that he is very much in attendance these days, and a reconfigured Just Love You (6) who finished a surprising, but eye-catching, 3rd in the Gr.1 Criterium des 5 Ans mid-September. Occasionally unfocused but otherwise a tough veteran mare, Emeraude De Bais (7) should find these conditions more to her liking.
