VERDICT: It has been a whopping 900 days since Girolamo (14) last got his nose in front, but he has clearly started to make moves and even from the back line, can get that particular monkey off his back. He will be opposed though by second-row starters Happyjo De Ligny (13), who has 2 races under his belt since the summer break, and a barefoot Gardner Shaw (15) who will be partnered by Alexandre Abrivard for the first time. 25m better off and as dependably-performant as they come, Hulk De Tillard (7) has never finished closer than 5th here but in current form is very easy to like.
