VERDICT: Success on turf might have proved elusive so far for Royal Dream but the consistent Ed Dunlop-trained gelding has put together a sequence of respectable enough efforts elsewhere to suggest he can give weight and a beating to these rivals. Fellow turf maiden Milliterries won over 1m on Tapeta at Southwell on her penultimate start and can again go well if coping with the surface/longer trip off just 1lb higher. Baroque Buoy and Oman complete the shortlist.
