VERDICT: Having landed a bumper at Warwick in April, Ace Of Spades failed to justify favouritism when only managing fourth at Uttoxeter earlier in the month. However, Dan Skelton's five-year-old should have learned a great deal from that experience and is well worth another chance on only his second start over the smaller obstacles. Jackpot Des Bordes struck on his bumper debut before finishing a respectable second under a penalty at Wincanton last time, and he is one to take seriously on his first start over hurdles. Walk In The Hills completes the shortlist.
