VERDICT: The application of first-time blinkers saw an improved performance from Storm Venture when finishing runner-up over C&D 11 days ago. The four-year-old makes plenty of appeal racing off an unchanged mark and a breakthrough victory could be on the horizon. The biggest threat may emerge from Firenze Rosa, who arrives on the back of a close-up second at Windsor, while Mintana hasn't been disgraced of late and she looks best of the remainder.
