VERDICT: Sporting Glory is a lightly-raced eight-year-old but showed smart ability in his belated debut season and was sold last May as part of the Clipper Logistics dispersal sale, for 120,000 pounds. His bumper form is strong and having dipped his toe into late-season hurdling in a Fairyhouse Grade 2 last March, should now take the beating debuting for a new yard. Taponthego has been withdrawn from two recent maiden hurdles and while he is a notable runner on his debut for new connections, needs to be smart to beat the selection. Wrecking Ballbilly had good bumper form in 2023 but is probably best watched on his hurdles' debut following a 345-day layoff.
