VERDICT: Corundum was far from disgraced in fourth behind some progressive rivals at Southwell and the drop in grade can work the oracle. Lucy Wadham's runner shaped as if this extra yardage could suit when third over 1m at the same venue on his penultimate start and he makes most appeal. The biggest danger might come in the form of Show Biz Kid, who ran well when beaten less than two lengths in a Nottingham handicap, while significant improvement can be expected from His Finest Hour on his second start.
