VERDICT: Divilabother has given the impression on several occasions this year that he has a handicap of this nature in him and first-time cheekpieces might help Thomas Coyle's grey to make the breakthrough. The Markaz gelding split two well-handicapped mares when runner-up at Sligo in July and, after a disappointing run when favourite at Kilbeggan, was less than a length behind a subsequent Listowel Festival winner when a staying-on third at Galway last month. Locally-trained contender Hees Dynamite has shown improvement lately and has been placed in his last two starts over a little bit further, while Portarlington has shown glimpses of ability and may improve for stepping up in trip on his first start for a shrewd yard.
