VERDICT: Having both made impressive introductions, Jack's Time and Authentic Strike found the Grade 3 Iroquois Stakes too hot to handle at Churchill Downs. Kelly Von Hemel's colt was three places and four lengths ahead of his rival, though, and can confirm superiority. Global Legend and Thrilla have held their own in stakes company and warrant consideration.
