VERDICT: Silver Arrow showed marked improvement from his first to second start when third at Newcastle last time out, and the form of that contest has been franked by the winner going close in a valuable sales race since. The step up in trip looks like a good move and he gets the vote ahead of recent C&D runner-up Genbu, and Jachin, who wasn't beaten far at Redcar last time. Canavan and Saxon Raider cannot be ruled out either.
