VERDICT: As adept in one code as the other, and winner over 2850m on his only Vincennes appearance, Fighter Simoni (11) is back under harness after freshening up at Cabourg and with Alexandre Abrivard reining, will not be easily bested. That said, the well-engaged Hera Wind (14) won 3 on the trot before coming a cropper in Lyon, and will be no pushover. Reassuring last time out, and already a winner under these conditions, G.k.justus (9) will be fully fit and, with application, can play an active role. Useful at home in his native Finland, Mask Off (FIN) (10) races first-time barefoot, for a new trainer, and will be expected to give a competitive account.
