VERDICT: A few of these have a bit to prove, but that can't be said of Star Start, who finished a creditable third under Charli Parker at York last month. Ruth Carr's four-year-old will undoubtedly appreciate an ease in class and from an unchanged mark, he can regain the winning thread. Jaminoz has been consistent all season and could be on the premises once again, although Roman Secret, whose best turf efforts have come with some cut in the ground, should also be taken seriously.
