VERDICT: Pearly Island bumped into a useful chaser when finishing a staying-on second over 2m4f at Huntingdon when last seen in April, and he commands the utmost respect off the same mark on his return. That said, with match-fitness on his side, it may pay to side with Nickelforce. He impressed when scoring comfortably over an extended 2m6f at Stratford last month and, upped 6lb, he looks the one to side with. Awesome Foursome is respected most of the remainder.
