VERDICT: There looked to be scope for plenty more improvement from Karazhal when he won his maiden here last month. The Profitable gelding got going late when getting up close home over 6f and going another furlong looks like it can only help. Zambales was a touch unlucky in running when second on his handicap debut at Navan nine days ago and could be the danger off just a 1lb higher mark. Wizard Of Odds is the first runner on home soil for newly-licensed trainer Stephen Thorne and he is an interesting contender having beaten King Thistle when last seen taking a Down Royal maiden in July.
