VERDICT: Spirit Of Applause was beaten just a length when third over course and distance on his recent all-weather debut. That effort can be upgraded, given he had to be switched for a clear run, and Tim Easterby's sprinter makes plenty of appeal. Fiscal Policy was hampered when finishing fifth in the same race and can finish closer with normal luck in running, while Cliffcake won off a 5lb higher mark at the track back in March and is another to note.
