VERDICT: A case can be made for many in this ultra-competitive affair. Successful three times in six starts since joining Denis Hogan, Polemon might still be ahead of the handicapper on a mark of 79. The Frankel five-year-old is unproven over this trip but is still sure to have plenty of supporters, judging by the manner of his latest victory. A fast-finishing second after missing the break at Thurles last week, it'll come as no surprise if Sir Allen manages to go a place better, while recent winners Paradise Lost and Arch Enemy are of definite interest. One of four Gavin Cromwell-tRained representatives in the line-up, Club Manager is another leading hope.
