VERDICT: After finishing a fine seventh in the valuable Northfields Handicap over C&D on Champions Weekend, Apercu will appreciate this drop in class. Tried in blinkers for the first time now, she should be able to confirm Northfields form with the reopposing Fleetfoot. Ger O'Leary has his horses in fine form of late, with his Scholarship appearing the main danger. A runner-up three times from six starts this season, he certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn. Encosta warrants respect, as does four-time winner Fiver Friday.
