VERDICT: Cap Saint Martin was one of Joseph O'Brien's French runners this summer and now contests his first maiden, at median sires series level. It is a small concern he has missed the break on both starts but nonetheless showed ability at Killarney before taking fifth behind stablemate and Goffs Million winner Apples And Bananas at Deauville, with the third subsequently winning a Group 3. All those ahead of Romantic War at Naas in July have won races since - along with the 12th-placed finisher - and while Romantic War showed ability there, he now returns from a break. Vorfreude finished well over a juvenile staying distance on debut here, while Habari's winning dam is a half-sister to Harzand.
