VERDICT: Rejuvenated since having been fitted with pads, L'espoir De Kyrn (6) is undefeated racing clockwise and makes his Cabourg debut with a realistic chance of keeping that status. The promising Lover Man (5) has a better spot in front, will have come on for the re-entry run, and looks a major player. Runner-up here earlier in the month, Landevy (11) is forced to contend with a 2nd-row draw but still looks competitive for a place in the frame. Unlucky last time out, but never far from surprising, Loulou Des Oubeaux (7) starts wide on the front line and will not be far off the mark if Etienne Lefranc keeps him trotting.
