VERDICT: Becasse (2) ran with promise at Auteuil when he was fifth on his debut and then made a bad mistake at the first hurdle and was pulled up at this track 9 days ago. He can be forgiven and is given the vote ahead of Nile Bird (4) who also failed to finish last time after a nice run on his debut. He is one to keep safe. Just Forty (1) was a pleasing third at Dieppe in late August and can make the top three. Speaker (5) looks best of the remainder.
