VERDICT: Baraq impressed when bringing up the double over this trip at Newcastle earlier in the month, setting strong fractions before coming clear of his rivals in the closing stages. Racing off a 4lb higher mark, the suspicion is that this progressive son of Frankel can rate higher still. Dutch Decoy doubtless has the ability to play a hand in a race of this nature and, after being outclassed in the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket recently, he merits respect with his sights lowered on the comeback trail. Eagle Day is another to consider in what looks a competitive affair.
