VERDICT: Oaks runner-up Dance Sequence hasn't been seen since finishing down the field in the Prix de Diane at Chantilly in July, but she returns from that absence in much calmer waters and is fancied to resume her progress. Sound Angela (winner) had the measure of High Spirited (third) in the John Musker at Yarmouth last time out and can be expected to confirm her superiority, but Verbier, who contested a Grade 2 at Saratoga recently, could be the bigger threat.
