VERDICT: She may not always be the easiest of horses to handle but Julie Du Clos (15) finds herself superbly-engaged at the limit of earnings and after having encouraged at Tours, looks a serious candidate for success. That said, Java Du Cherisay (12) is plainly close to her race and will be no pushover. Josepha Mesloise (3) left a good impression recently on the Vincennes main track and the engagement of Yoann Lebourgeois will do her prospects no harm. Jabellina (6) has solid French credentials, goes well for P-Y Verva, and must be considered a leading contender.
