VERDICT: Unopposed winner at Reims mid-September, on his just her second start for Mathieu Mottier, Happy Marancourt (5) finds herself well-engaged here, barefoot, and with her trainer reining, can make it 2 on the trot. She will nevertheless face resistance from second-line starters, Haitian Fight Song (12), who imposed in good order last time out, and Gianina Bella (13) who gave a reassuringly good account at Laval a fortnight ago. Histoire Moderne (11) showed her form at Vincennes last time, despite faulting, and Alexandre Abrivard will be keen to put things right.
