VERDICT: Hard race to assess with so many starters but a chance is taken on Jumbo Jack (18), after a much-needed comeback 8th (shod), on the form/evidence of his course-and-distance success earlier this year. Consistent Jean D'hollenbourg (4), who was 3rd in a good race last time, and enigmatic Joyaux De Reux (3), despite his latest faux pas, seem best equipped to challenge that rival. The shortlist is completed by Justicier Dairpet (14) and Jibril Snob (10).
