VERDICT: The Donald McCain stable has been going well of late and this appeals as a decent opportunity for Cartonne on his first run since a creditable second over further at Hereford in May. A winner twice last winter on good and soft ground, the seven-year-old may have too much for the capable Abingworth, as well as Mix Of Clover, who brings good recent form to the table after scoring at Bangor last month.
