VERDICT: Tony Carroll won this in 2022 with Pop Dancer and although his 2023 representative was only fifth, he has better chances with Under Curfew, caught close home here over 7f last month and a potential front-runner. Phoenix Beach was beaten a length and a half into second in this 12 months ago and he races off 3lb lower now, making him a danger to all. Spanish Angel and Basholo have won here seven times between them, with six of those over this trip, so have to be considered too.
