VERDICT: Black Smoke is the only Wolverhampton winner in the field having scored over C&D in early September. Not disgraced off his new mark when a two-length third back here since, he gets on well with Millie Wonnacott, who takes a useful 5lb off his back. Sophar Sogood stays this trip and further and is one to consider back on the all-weather after disappointing at Chester, although recent course third Advert Rules may be the bigger danger if first-time blinkers bring any improvement.
