VERDICT: The Declan Queally-trained Twentyfourcarrot would have strong claims if able to reproduce her debut effort. Third on her introduction at Wexford in April, that form was well advertised with the second, fourth and fifth all winning subsequently. Although somewhat disappointing when only sixth at Cork next time, that race may just have come too soon. On the back of a break, the daughter of Balko should have no excuses. Point-to-point winner Machismo showed ability in three bumper starts last season and while the Gordon Elliott-trained gelding may be more of a long-term prospect over jumps, this isn't the strongest of contests. Tramore fourth Belle Le Grand is entitled to be sharper on this second start under Rules.
