VERDICT: One Eye Jack (4) overcame a tardy start to make a winning debut and did so easier than the margin of victory may suggest. He's awkwardly drawn in a wide barrier but looked potentially useful when scoring at Haydock last month, so it could pay to follow his progress. Mount Kilimanjaro (5) isn't exactly bred to be precocious but has revealed sufficient means/ability to acquit himself competitively, especially over this extended distance which should serve his interests. Relaxx (11) shouldn't be hastily condemned for finishing unplaced in a strong renewal of the Group III Prix d'Aumale and isn't without a chance, which also applies to debut winner Fly Half (3), whose latest outing over this distance was encouraging.
