VERDICT: High-quality renewal, despite the small field size. Back to his best after an injury-enforced layoff, Kyprios (2) has won all 5 starts this year and completed a Group I hat-trick when scoring in the Irish St Leger last month. He was a brilliant victor of this race in 2022 and is good value to reclaim his prize and extend his sequence of top-level successes. Double Major (4) has been specifically aimed at this race and France's leading stayer should prove a worthy adversary.
