VERDICT: Inspiral was imperious in this race 12 months ago and would be hard to beat if she recaptures that level of form. The daughter of Frankel acts with juice in the ground and can be expected to have been primed for back-to-back wins. Stable companion Nashwa is no back number and adds depth to the race. Tamfana (fourth) and Elmalka (winner) are closely matched on the 1000 Guineas form and the former might be able to turn the tables.
