VERDICT: Useful on a good day but a handful, Kaliskana (10) gets to race barefoot for the first time and, performant with Jean-Philippe Monclin reining, can win this if she stays in stride. Kasta Du Rib (4) would have finished close at Le Mont-Saint-Michel had she not been unsure of stride and Jean-Loic Claude Dersoir will be eager to set the record straight. Given a break in April, Kalamity De Chenu (9) now has a brace of runs in her, goes first-time barefoot, and will be expected to show another side. Given a conditioner at Pornichet after the summer break, the Laval-loving Kiara Mauricienne (6) faces her first goal of the autumn and, at ease with her driver, is unlikely to disappoint.
