VERDICT: Close 2nd at Enghien on his most recent amateur exploit, Hatlas De Moutiers (6) returns to France in excellent form, barefoot, and is sufficiently well-positioned to win this. Iquito Planchette (10), something of a 'superstar' in this category, has not been as fortunate with the draw but boasts an excellent record with his amateur and will be no pushover. Ivana De Bertrange (9) has not been the most fortunate either but has taken particularly well to the amateur division and is not about to let the side down. The better-placed Horace Des Champs (4) is barefoot for the occasion and, with Michel Poirier reining, will be afforded every chance.
