VERDICT: Stefan Richter has won and placed 3 times each with 8 runners at Lyon-La-Soie this year and that impressive record bodes well for the chances of Bolshkinov (4) who finished an encouraging 2nd on his reappearance at Dresden recently. He gets the nod ahead of top-weight Belafonte (1) whose candidacy/competitiveness in this category is beyond doubt. Royal Saxo (9) isn't taken lightly either and he should fare a lot better in this grade than he did when last seen in a Quinte+ at Deauville in July. Dual course winner Pump Pump City (2) completes the shortlist in his first start at this level.
