VERDICT: The Gosden team may not be in the rudest of form at present, but this appeals as an ideal opportunity for Byblos, who was an eye-catcher on debut when keeping on late in the piece over 7f at Kempton. Stepping up to a mile should suit, as a half-brother to a Classic winner in Siskin, and he is narrowly preferred to Tornado Alert, who ran a highly encouraging race first time out at Lingfield last month when not beaten far in third. A well-bred son of Kingman, who has a pedigree that points to being better over further, Reign Of Honour should be monitored for market support.
